That aspect was created solely for the Sorc, it's like you say useless for any of the rest. The Sorc was underpowered from the start so they tried that but it failed. They had to redo the Sorc from ground up in season 4 now it's top tier

Season 4 change is so nice the one and done, you don't have to find another every time you want to apply it, you can find it once and use it indefinite

got my first shako this ladder from duriel during my first hell rush wasn't sure my budget merc could handle it but she did alright! managed to pick up my first monarch during it as well. was a nice buff to my sorc to get a shako and a spirit from that.

For anyone who wants a shake up, go play Project Diablo 2. Inferno sorc, throw barb, summon druid, just about anything you can think of plays very well and is fun.

Next, I'm going to add Crushing Blow (G Face &/or Rattlecage) to my Act 2 merc. For said merc, either an Infinity RW or an Ethereal Bonehew with 2 Bers (G Face, Rcage, 2 Bers=100% CB on the merc) or Shaels absolutely slays as well, with its added 50% proc of bone spear. Iceblink is a good budget armor, too. For MF, Skullder's Ire is great. Shaftstop is great for 30% Phys Dam reduction.

Doesn't Conviction and Lower Resist stack with each other? I've always wanted to make a build centered around those stacking. I wanted to do that with Cold Mastery as well but I forget how far you can lower the enemies resistance.

Oh, in D2R, you can summon Golems in town. Jerym will be angry if he finds out you vandalized his pavement .... This also brings some Griefing Potential with Iron Golems.

The items In Diablo 4 feel awful until youre in world tier 4 farming 925 ilvl gear, it sucks so much ass finding a unique ring or something you need in your build but like 25 levels too early. Its useless gear. compare that garbage feeling of nothing you find having any value untill 925ilvl to Something like The Countess droping a tal and eth rune right on a new ladder charachter. That Stealth Armour is coming with you untill hell difficulty, finding items in diablo 2 feels so much better, drops feel so good that sometimes I get an Item and ditch my current charachter to make a build around the new item, I dont think we are ever gunna get an ARPG with itemization like Diablo 2 ever again.

I've been using this instead of spirit on my blizz sorc. since im not using mana shield, and using either wealth or ormus robes, it really keeps you getting 2-3 shotted in cows, and gives you nice survivability with that 35% dr.

Short answer to thumnail, you dont. Bots find the runes, people buy the runes, you find charms, keys and random items and trade them online for the runes.

Theres more cons. I host hell baal runs so people can level their new chars. But i turned tz off once because nobody was in throne. Even though the game title said baal runs. And a few people lost it and have been pk'ing and denying exp in my baal runs ever since. They need to add a feature to block certain players from joining games. Only toggleable in lobby of course. Terror zoners also have the "ironman" personality, from runescape. They feel entitled and wronged when you dont go out of your way to get them their exp. And that they deserve it more than you. Its so toxic.

TZ's helped save D2 for me. so so tired of running cows or just bosses. plus terrorized Cathedrals and some others are so much fun.

when leveling Bowazon and wearing Treachery i noticed that the relationship between Venom proc and any (all) charms with poison properties would not play correctly together. i ended up removing all items (and charms) with poison damage on them until I could build a Fortitude. my experience only, could be imagining things.
